The Coca-Cola Company
Project: Coke; Put on a Smile
Agency: Ogilvy
Channels: Digital
Air Date: June 2013
Strategy: Coke’s tagline at the time of this project was “Open Happiness”. There’s just something to that joyful feeling when you crack open a bottle of Coca-Cola.
In the summer of 2013, Coke wanted to thank people, especially some of their employees, who make the world a happier place. So what did we do? We came up with an idea to bring together 600 of their customers, fans and employees to star in their own movie. We created the first “wearable movie” by printing each frame of the film on 600 separate t-shirts, which were then sent around the globe with a personalized “thank you”. The recipients were asked to put on a smile, take a photo and claim their frame in a collective effort to complete the film.

Coke Plant Bottle - Plants Make Us Happy
Project: Plant Bottle Launch - Plants Make Us Happy
Agency: Ogilvy
Channels: Print, Outdoor
Air Date: Summer 2014
Strategy: Ready to get their sustainability message out to the world, we introduced Coca-Cola’s PlantBottle™, the world's first fully recyclable PET plastic bottle made partially from plants. The main objective was to let people know that the refreshing, delicious product they know and love will taste the same and is in a ‘better for the world’ bottle. Drafting off of the Coca-Cola™ brand Open Happiness, we came up with our own tagline of Plants Make Us Happy and designed equally iconic work with a nod to plants.
